I’ve had this in my “watch later” list for quite some time. This was very hard to watch, obviously I am not the only one! This movie is changing lives for the better. My heart goes out to all who have suffered this despicable type of behavior!!

i just ended a situationship with an abuser like mark. these couple days has been very hard, but watching this makes me realize that God is trying to save me. I'm so grateful now.

Ok so I am not in a relationship but these type of gratuitous controlling comments are handed to me by my manager at work, it all comes to show she does not respect me. She is allowing abuse and she takes every opportunity to avoid recognising me. As I was showing some work I created, she left half-way trying to show disinterest. I still might want to stay another year for personal reasons regardless of her but I don't know. I think she feels insecure and small.

The flaw in this reenactment is how innocent the protagonist is being portrayed. Even if its meant to highlight the signs of narcissistic abuse, no one would not realize the toxicity and continue remaining passive.

I’m sorry, but the alcohol and the woman took the sting out of his narcissism and gas lining. It made it confusing. It would’ve been better if she had not been drinking in the video.

I am so scared that my partner is going to wait until after marriage or pregnancy to really show his true colors. He’s already complaining about always doing things himself when we literally just moved in together. I understand he’s trying to prevent that from happening but… there’s no reason to get so upset.
